Comments: I made this scarf for my niece for Christmas. She loves purple almost as much as I do, so I thought she'd like something pretty and girly like this. It's just garter stitch - 6' x 45".

Here's a picture of my niece wearing the scarf - isn't she a cutie pie? She's sitting on my mom's lap. Mom likes purple too! :-)

Comments: I started this shawl on the day my sister left for Iraq, in the hope of putting out some peace into the world. Fighting between American and Iraqi troops started that day and she's still not home from Iraq, so it really didn't work. I like the shawl, though. It's really warm and pretty. I still need to block it, then I'll take a photo and post it.
