Comments: I can't remember when I started this, but it didn't take all that long to knit. The booties are my standard bootie pattern which I got from Ann Kreckel on the Knitlist. The set was knit for another friend's baby - Elinor. Elinor was a little pre-mature, so this looks huge. I knit her a little pumpkin hat to wear until this set fits. The bees on the hat are buttons I bought at JoAnn Fabric's.

Comments: These bootie and hat sets were knit for ANOTHER friend's twins, Sidney & Jack. Sidney & Jack were very premature, so the hat comes from a website for Preemies. The booties are the same pattern as the set above, but knit at a firmer gauge. The whole set was so tiny! Both babies are now home with Mom and Dad and are fine and much too big for these sets. Cascade is a fantastic cotton yarn with a touch of elastic to keep its shape. I got one of these skeins from my friend Sandi and that got me hooked!
